BOMA 360 Designation

In 2016, 2050 Main Street achieved the esteemed recognition as a BOMA 360 Performance Building by BOMA International. This prestigious designation acknowledges commercial properties showcasing exceptional practices in building operations management, encompassing life safety, security and risk management, energy efficiency, sustainable practices, tenant relations, and community involvement.

LEED Certified Office Building

In 2017, 2050 Main Street proudly achieved recertification as LEED Platinum by the U.S. Green Building Council. The LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) program acknowledges top tier building strategies and practices, promoting sustainability. LEED Certified buildings not only save resources and money but also enhance occupant health while fostering the use of renewable, clean energy. At the time of recognition, 2050 Main Street stood among the few Platinum Certified Office Buildings in Orange County, highlighting its exceptional commitment to sustainable practices.

Energy Star

Since 2012, 2050 Main Street has maintained its distinction as an Energy Star certified office building, presently achieving an Energy Score of 95. Utilizing Energy Star benchmarking has effectively curbed energy inefficiencies, significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions at power plants and contributing to a cleaner, healthier environment.

The Outstanding Building of the Year Award

In 2013, 2050 Main Street earned The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) award from the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). The TOBY Awards honor top-tier commercial properties globally for their operational excellence, covering areas such as building management, operational efficiency, tenant retention, emergency planning, and community impact.

Furthermore, in 2016, 2050 Main Street received the TOBY Earth Award. This esteemed recognition, presented by BOMA, celebrates the management's exceptional dedication to environmental stewardship and innovative sustainability measures implemented at the property.

Recycling Programs

Our building-wide recycling program encompasses paper, plastic, and cans. Additionally, we conduct specific recycling initiatives for lamps and batteries, with scheduled "E" Waste drives organized several times throughout the year.

High Efficiency Lighting

Common area lighting on timers and tied to Energy Management System. Occupancy sensors located in all private offices, electrical & phone rooms, MPOE, Switch Gear and Pump Rooms.

High Efficiency Plumbing Fixtures

The restrooms are equipped with dual flush handles on toilets and low-flow aerators on faucets, ensuring efficient water usage. Moreover, we utilize reclaimed water in all toilets, urinals, Cooling Towers, and outdoor irrigation, furthering our commitment to sustainable water practices.

High Efficiency Energy Management

2050 Main Street has formed a partnership with So Cal Edison (SCE) and actively engages in the Demand Response program. This program involves shutting down non-essential equipment and lighting during peak periods in the summer months, contributing to more efficient energy usage.
