We encourage you to place your order for telephone service as quickly as possible. You are also responsible for scheduling and coordinating installation and all instructions to the phone vendor. Local telephone service is through AT&T.
Summit Riser Systems manages the building’s telecommunications riser infrastructure. Starting from the Minimum Point of Entry (MPOE) to the end point in the appropriate riser closet, Summit Riser Systems shall execute or supervise all riser or feeder cable installations, all cross connects and testing within the building’s riser system.
- In order to facilitate the scheduling, Summit Riser Systems must be notified 24 hours prior to any required work performed within the building’s riser system. Their contact information is within the Telephone Numbers Section of this Handbook.
- All phones, computer and data lines must be plenum approved. This is a requirement of the local fire department for all tenants and for fire/life safety reasons is strictly enforced.
- All cabling and phone/data vendors must provide a certificate of insurance and evidence of worker’s compensation including coverage as listed in the Insurance Requirements for Independent Contractors in the Forms Section of this handbook.
